This Demonstration illustrates the simulated growth of an epidemic infectious disease in a population that can vary in size and density (the probability that any two members are connected). The population lives on a grid. Both the number of newly infected in each time period and the total cumulative number infected are plotted. This model assumes a well-mixed random network structure.
