Spikes having astroidal geometry are placed on the faces of a dodecahedron. Use the sliders to set the number of floors and the spike heights. The constituent rectangles can be truncated to provide an ornamental look. With one floor it is possible to approximate the shape of various polyhedra such as a small stellated dodecahedron or rhombic triacontahedron.
