Motion of an Object Subject to Forces in One Dimension

This Demonstration shows the nature of balanced and unbalanced forces, and the effect of these forces on the motion of the object, following Newton’s first and second laws. With different settings, the object moves with constant speed, speeds up, slows down, or moves through a turning point.
