This Demonstration shows how to multisect an angle using Archimedes's spiral.


Let be an angle that we want to section into equal parts. Let one side of the angle be and let be the point of intersection of the second side with the spiral. Construct the point on such that . Find the point of intersection of the circle with center and radius with the spiral. Then .
