Intersecting Lines Using Slope-Intercept Form

Two straight lines intersect at a point unless they have the same slope.
In slope-intercept form, the equation of a line is given by , where is the slope and is the intercept. If two lines are both given in slope-intercept form, you can find their point of intersection by solving the simultaneous equations
