Three continuous stirred-tank reactors (CSTRs), in which a first-order reaction is taking place, are subject to a feed disturbance. This disturbance is successfully rejected with the help of a proportional-integral feedback controller. This Demonstration plots the three exit concentrations as a function of time. The blue, magenta, and brown curves correspond to the exit concentrations from reactors 1, 2 and 3, respectively.
