This Demonstration shows plots of a unit-step response of a time delay and a first-order plus time delay using either 1/1 or 2/2 Padé approximants (red and blue curves). These approximate output functions can be compared with the exact solution shown here in green. You can vary the time delay and the first-order time constant .
